I recently worked on a great project with Foxall Studio on a rebranding project for Okun, a premium swimwear brand that offers luxury pieces inspired by pan-African culture and patterns. The focal point of my own work was the conception and execution of a brand new tone of voice, which they’re just beginning to roll out alongside Foxall’s new graphic treatments and imagery. My work also incorporated a new tagline, manifesto and various guidelines for social/product copy applications.
The Foxall brothers are two of my favourite people to work with – I really admire the way they refuse to bow to the creative restraints and compromises agencies are often subjected to. Plus we have very similar perspectives on fashion, culture and beyond which always makes for interesting conversation.
